Wynn Casino is Being Refused a Permit
- April 6, 2015 By Samantha A. -
Wynn Casino is currently in a large debate and stand off when it comes to obtaining that permit that is needed to open their doors and be able to showcase their casino to the public. This was not foreseen, since the well known casino and resort owners have always had casinos placed throughout the world and have never once had a problem getting their permits to do the gaming and fun that they normally provide.
Overlooking the Mystic River in Everett, the state is refusing to provide the necessary permits required for Wynn to build their massive resort and casino. These permits are required by all casino owners in order to build and operate within a specific area. Without them, Wynn is no longer able to build or operate in the areas that they purchased land on.
They are confident that this decision is not going to completely derail the project since Wynn just has to address some issues before they are able to move forward and apply for the permit once again. Once the issues are addressed and the specifics have been met, then their permit is able to go through and they can begin building and opening the resort and casino up to the public around them.
As of right now, they have to address the environmental issues that are surrounding the area regarding the excess noise, pollution and transportation issues that might be caused by putting the casino in the area. Many of the residents are actually against the movement to put the casino up in the first place, and in order for them to be on board, these specifics have to be addressed and corrected.
Many regulations are put into effect for these business owners to follow them. Wynn cannot just come in and put their casino up without the decency to address issues that the governor needs them to address. They have to do what is right for the city and the state that they want to build in, so they have to take the chance and look through every possible avenue in order to correct and address the problems so they can open up.
