New Shooting Start Casino to Launch in Bagley

The New Shooting Star Casino is set to be opened to the public.

White Earth Nation located in Minnesota stated that its newest Shooting Star Casino, Hotel, and Entertainment Location will be constructed in the city of Bagley.  The Building of this location will commence in September and is projected to be finished sometime in the following spring.

The Cuningham Group which is a Minneapolis-based construction and interior design firm is in charge of this project’s design. Once this project is completed, it is said to create approximately 40 new jobs for members of the White Earth Nation as well as the populace of the neighboring areas.

The General Manager of the Shooting Star located in Mahnomen stated that they are tremendously thrilled about the new venue in Bagley.

The General Manager also stated that they did extensive research and found that many of the patrons who frequented the Mahnoman Shooting Star actually traveled from the Bagley Area.  In addition to this statement, he stated that the Northwest Minnesota area has articulated the interest in hosting a first-class gaming facility.

With this new business Bagley will not only profit from the newly produced jobs, but the proceeds that the casino will donate to the city and it’s educational, health, and environmental operations.  The executive also stated that the new venue is also anticipated to advance business development within the area.

As already mentioned, the White Earth Nation is at present running the Shooting Start Casino Hotel and its Event Center in Mahnomen. This Luxury entertainment and gambling location enjoys its immense reputation amongst its Minnesota Residents.

The Complex had its official launch in May of 1992, and in 2001, a 146,300 square foot extension was launched.  $30 million in revenue was spent for this expansion, and this location now holds a casino floor, a hotel with 386 rooms to accommodate guest, a performance venue that spreads over 15,000 square feet as well as a meeting hall that spreads over 30,000 square feet.

According to the most up to date information, the Shooting Star Casino located in Mahnomen employs approximately 1,000 people as well as distributes yearly more than $27 million between wages and a variety of benefits.
