Capable of accommodating 1,400 people, the Victoria Gate Casino will be one of the largest venues of its kind on the continent, and it will also house a restaurant, two bars, function space and huge screens for watching sporting events.
The casino will be as big as some of its Las Vegas counterparts, featuring a huge poke room, 140 slot machines, 24 gaming tables and 80 electronic table games.
The new entertainment venue is expected to have a very positive effect on the community, given that the owners have committed to bringing at least 90 percent of employees from the Leeds City Region.
The entire West Yorkshire county is expected to profit from the super casino, as Victoria Gate Casino hopes to attract gamers from around the UK, as well as foreigners that find themselves in the region.
According to plans, the casino is expected to launch before the end of the year, and it is likely to make the city of Leeds an attractive destination for casino gamers from all over the United Kingdom.
The Victoria Gate retail development will be spread across 42,000m2 and it will house a flagship John Lewis store, numerous other retail stores, restaurants, cafes and a multi-storey car park accommodating up to 800 cars.
Victoria Gate Casino will be another interesting addition to the luxury development, adding an extra dimension to the area that is likely to become the highlight of the Leeds City Centre.
