Quickspin’s Second Strike Arrives at Ladbrokes Terminals Across UK
- July 14, 2017 By Riley Wilson -
Stockholm-headquartered game studio Quickspin , known for its innovative content, has announced the launch of its first product developed designed specifically for retail players in the United Kingdom.
Second Strike is Quickspin’s first shop-oriented game since the company was purchased by Playtech last year, and will soon be launched across more than 7700 Ladbrokes terminals in the country.
Established back in 1886, Ladbrokes is a UK-based betting and gambling company that also operates online casino and online poker websites.
Psiclone, another Playtech studio, participated in the development of the game, created with a unique selling proposition for British retail players. Second Strike is a £500, 10-winline jackpot slot with at least three matching symbols to receive payouts.
Plethora of Features
The game also has several special features – Bonus Track, Second Strike and Super Second Strike – which offer substantial rewards, while the Mega Spins offers a power up of five reel spin. Last, but not the least, there is the Wild Strike feature, with floating Wild symbols moving around the reels.
Quickspin’s Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Lindberg, said the company was really proud of Second Strike. He emphasized the fact this was the first time Quickspin had designed a game such as this one – especially for retail players, but also available across other channels. Lindberg added it had been a great challenge for everyone involved, with the final result being a premium game with top-class gameplay and plenty of features.
Lindberg concluded by saying he was very confident players would enjoy playing Second Strike.
