Pragmatic Play Takes Over Extreme Live Gaming, Wazdan Strikes Deal with iGaming Platform

Online gaming company acquisitions and collaboration agreements always get lots of attention as they often end up reshaping the industry. Back in April, experts were amused by the announced acquisition of Snaitech by giant Playtech and this month top news seems to be the information that Pragmatic Play is going to take over Extreme Live Gaming. Moreover, Wazdan and iGaming Platform have signed a content supply deal, something that is expected to further improve the presence of the latter.
These ownership changes and content deals are very important as all involved companies want to improve their offerings to players by them. Namely, by taking over Extreme Live Gaming Pragmatic Play would enter the lucrative live dealer gambling sector, whereas the iGaming Platform’s game portfolio would considerably improve.
Extreme Live Gaming Acquisition Amount Remains a Secret
Extreme Live Gaming is considered to be one of the leading live dealer gambling product suppliers alongside Evolution Gaming. Their portfolio of live roulette, live blackjack and live baccarat tables attracts hundreds of players worldwide, while its innovative approach has earned the company lots of respect. Therefore, it comes as a huge surprise that the Novomatic Group has decided to sell it to another casino software provider.
So far, the amount that was agreed between the companies for the acquisition remains a secret. However, what has been revealed is Pragmatic Play’s intention to broaden its offerings and enter new markets through its latest asset. Pragmatic Play has established itself as a leading name in the online gaming industry and wanting to improve its live casino technology comes as a logical step.
Commenting on the acquisition, Pragmatic Play’s chief commercial officer expressed their delight for being able to “combine quality and innovation.” Moreover, she highlighted that the latest purchase would help Pragmatic Play cement its position as “one of the top five” software providers in the industry. On the other hand, Extreme Live Gaming’s CEO Darwyn Palenzuela pointed out how the move would “empower” the company’s team to take the business to the next level.
iGaming Platform to Offer Wazdan Games
In other significant news, Wazdan and iGaming Platform has signed a content supply deal, meaning the latter will now start offering Wazdan’s top titles. After striking a deal with Tom Horn, iGaming Platform has now enriched its portfolio with new top-quality picks for players. This shows the strong determination of the company to keep growing and expanding with a significant pace. So far, players are able to find iGaming Platfrom’s products at more than 250 betting sites, with the company showing strong intention to improve that number.
On behalf of Wazdan commented Andrzej Hyla who said that iGaming Platform collaborates with many top developers and that they were proud to be part of their offering. Phil Pearson, head of sales at iGaming Platform, on the other hand, highlighted that deciding to work with Wazdan was “an easy choice to make” due to the company’s technical abilities, high level of expertise and range of slots.
