Eyeballs in a jar, a candle, a boiling cauldron, a frog, a black cat, an aged wizard and a root are all common icons you will see plenty of in the slot, with the witch and fang acting as Wilds, and a vial of blood as Scatter.

HOW TO PLAY

Witch’s Brew is not entirely different from many other slots. The game allows you to adjust the amount of active paylines, as well as your bet level before starting. And if you aren’t feeling up for pressing a button over and over, the RTG’s Halloween release does allow for an extensive Autoplay feature, as well.

The game also shows off by giving you not one, but two Wilds to work with. While both Wilds award the re-spin bonus when 3 or more are matched, the Witch Wild also doubles your winnings when she appears, making her the more attractive Wild, but also that much rarer.

OTHER FEATURES

Despite the Wilds offering interesting bonuses, they are not the only special features the slot offers. Witch’s Brew also shows off a staggering amount of Free Games, making it a very enjoyable experience.

Bonus Round

When three or more Scatters appear, the slot gives you a set of free games. Just how many depends on the amount of Scatters on the reel. And while you might find the fact that Scatters trigger a bonus boring, getting 5 Scatters and winning a whopping 125 free games is anything but.

Scatter Symbol

Apart from being the trigger for the Free Games bonus feature, there is little else the Scatter is used for. It does boost your winnings slightly, and does not need to be matched up left to right like the other symbols do.

Jackpot

The jackpot for Witch’s Brew lies in the Witch Wild and high paying symbols. Wilds replace any other icon on the reel, and securing one of them with four other roots will earn you x5000 your bet. With $25 being your maximum wager, the largest win in the game is $125,000, which is hardly a small amount of money.

WITCH’S BREW ON MOBILE

While the remainder of the game is fun and offers an interesting Halloween themed slot, the mobile version simply fails to really achieve the same quality as the desktop version of the game does.

Witch’s Brew suffers from the fact that the interface, while adjusted for mobile, is mismatched with the game itself, and jarringly stands out. And while RTG has moved on from the old mobile setup, it makes a showing in this release, which feels odd and out of place.

That said, most of the issues are visual. The game runs perfectly fine on mobile devices, and the ability to play anywhere does forgive the somewhat clunky interface.
