888sport Teams up With Four English Championship Sides
- August 4, 2016 By Nemanja L. -
Well known for their innovative approach to online gaming, 888sport has stayed true to their style by announcing that they will sponsor no fewer than four English Championship clubs in the 2016/2017 season.
The highly rated bookmaker becomes the first sports betting operator to establish partnerships with four clubs from the same league, as they clearly believe their co-operation with the likes of Birmingham City, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston will produce excellent results.
While world-class players and premium entertainment are things that draw huge crowds to Premier League games, true fans tend to watch Championship games, supporting their beloved clubs for better or worse, and 888sport seems prepared to make their life a bit easier.
The company has introduced their Fans First Campaign, providing free travel to all away Championship fixtures played in midweek before Christmas.
The fans can also take part in the Goals Mean More promotion at 888sport and secure a £5 free bet each time their favourite team scores.
Following their agreement with four Championship clubs, 888sport will release a number of Championship specials to attract even more Championship fans to their sports betting website, while also offering the best odds on each market involving the likes of Birmingham City, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston North End.
William Hill Becomes Spurs’ Official Betting Partner
Meanwhile, William Hill has struck a deal to become the official betting partner of Tottenham Hotspur for Europe and Australia over the next two years.
The agreement will give the UK operator a chance to be present in club’s digital channels and stadium advertising boards, as well as offer betting services within the White Hart Lane stadium on match days.
William Hill will also invest in a community project designed by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the club’s charitably body.
The leading UK bookmaker appears to have found the right time to establish the potentially fruitful partnership with one of England’s most famous clubs seeing that Spurs enjoyed a breakthrough season last term, narrowly missing out on the Premier League trophy and they will be playing Champions League football this season.
