A Police Officer in New Jersey Remains in Critical Condition after a Casino Shooting

The Police Officer from New Jersey still remains in the critical status, but is stated to be showing signs of great improvement. The suspect has been stated to be dead after the two officers from New Jersey saw the robbery that was taking place outside of one of Atlantic City Casino Garages and there was an exchange of gunfire.
This shooting took place approximately at 2:30am on Saturday after the officers sighted three men trying to hold up three other people close to a parking garage located at Caesars Casino, Stated Diane Ruberton who is the acting Atlantic County Prosecutor.
The officer that is in critical condition was shot as he was exiting the vehicle. The other officer returned fire on the suspects and hit one of them, this suspect was found dead a very short distance away from the actually shooting location.
The Police arrested the two other men Saturday night that were also connected to this shooting. Demetrius Cross who is at the age of 28, from Bridgeton as well as Martell Chisholm who is at the age of 19, from Millville. Each of these men are being held on three counts of weapons offenses and robbery charges, as well as two counts of attempted murder charges. At this point it is unknown if these two suspects have legal representation.
The suspect that was found dead a short distance from the shooting location was identified to be Jerome Damon who was at the age of 25, from Camden.
The police representative stated that they worked tirelessly throughout Saturday in order to identify and apprehend the two suspects. When the two suspects were apprehended they cooperated fully with the police.
