BetSoft, Playtech Introduce New Mobile Solutions
- November 15, 2016 By Nemanja L. -
This has been a pretty good week for mobile gamers everywhere as two of the world’s leading software developers, BetSoft and Playtech, launched exciting HTML5 platforms.
The shift from desktop to mobile in the online gaming industry has been there for everyone to see, and it is hardly surprising that leading gaming companies strive towards providing their customers with the best possible gaming experience on smartphone and tablet.
While BetSoft Gaming has rolled out Shift platform, which will serve as a successor to their Flash games, Playtech has announced the release of HTML5 Live Roulette.
BetSoft’s Shift Platform Makes Debut
Shift is a new platform developed by BetSoft Gaming that will serve as a base for all upcoming games from the US friendly software provider.
Built with HTML5, it will ensure that all new games, as well as their previous titles, offer an impeccable gaming experience across all platforms.
Seeing as how support for Adobe’s Flash player will soon be discontinued, BetSoft has decided to replace said platform with Shift, making sure their premium titles continue to dazzle casino enthusiasts everywhere, regardless of their preferred OS and browser.
Shift runs natively on Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and many other popular internet browsers and is obviously compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices.
Kawaii Kitty was the first game to be unveiled on the new platform, and the adorable slot machine is already available in the best BetSoft casinos.
Playtech Revamps Live Roulette
At the same time, Playtech has also given their mobile gamers a reason to rejoice as they have decided to redesign their Live Roulette game. The new HTML5 version has been specifically designed with mobile players in mind and it has proved an instant success.
In just two days, most players have ditched the old version in favour of the new product, which is hardly surprising when we know that HTML5 Live Roulette offers players a chance to play in both portrait and landscape modes, while all their wagers are visible while the roulette wheel is spinning.
The UI has also been redesigned to further improve the overall gaming experience, and the good news is that HTML5 variant of Live Blackjack will be added to Playtech casinos by the end of the year.
